NYS is focused on strengthening manufacturing with a variety of programs through 2024 and 2025. The Supply Chain Initiatives programs offer a no-cost assessment with supply chain experts as well as the potential for funding to mitigate gaps or risks.
The assessment is pretty robust and covers topics including pricing controls, supplier communication, transportation/logistics, and inventory management, but also goes deeper assessing a company's collaborative planning with sales and operations, and continuous improvement efforts and results.
Because this New York State program is run through the Manufacturing Extension Partnership, it offers the ability to leverage the National Network and build resilience across and among disparate industries.
