Statewide Apprenticeship Opportunity Industry Rountables

Apprenticeship programs are not just for union shops.

Everyone is having a hard time finding the skilled labor they need. One solution is to build that skilled labor from within your company.  Apprenticeship programs are an investment in your employees, your community, and your future.

Participating in a developed apprentiship program at your facility can seem overwhelming, but in many cases, the benefits outweigh the effort. The SUNY Apprenticeship Program is hosting three free industry roundtables.

These virtual events will provide an opportunity for manufacturing businesses to learn how to build a sustainable workforce through the benefits of these programs. They will cover in-depth overviews of the SUNY Apprecnticehsip Program (SAP) and the NY College Apprenticeship Network (NYCAN) and opportunities for how employers can become involved. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.
