CITEC has had remarkably few staff changes over its 30 year history. This has always been a great company to work for, and the work itself is rewarding, so it is with a bit of wistfulness that we say “goodbye” to two longtime co-workers, George Mauch and Ellie Newvine.
Ellie worked at CITEC for 20 years, almost to the day. As our office assistant, she guided us through many changes over the years. When she started at CITEC, transcribing notes from recordings was still a thing, as was sending meeting agendas and minutes through the actual mail. Ellie stuck through all the changes, learning new skills and teaching the rest of it how it’s done. Ellie retired in June, and we wish her the best of everything.
George Mauch was with CITEC for nine years, focusing on safety and Lean training and implementation. He built great relationships with clients as they grew their businesses, and was always there for the next step forward. He brought in more than $1,000,000 in revenue for the company. George retired in January, and we miss having to show him how to work his computer. Fortunately for us, he is still around to provide third party consulting and training to our clients when needed.
We are fortunate, however, to be able to introduce you to our newest Business Advidor, Maribel Morgan. She comes to us with decades of diverse experience in industry, as well as previous experience and relationships in the MEP system. A Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Maribel has led engineering and operations teams at a range of enterprises from small firms to multinational corporations. She has driven transformational projects at regional companies including Swarovski, Bombardier, and Omni Medical Systems. Maribel works with clients on continuous improvement, technology implementation, and point solutions, and has already begun to build impacts for our clients. We look forward to many years of working together.
